Well, it's time to do something about the spam here, and possibly give the site a revamp.
Who knows what the future has in store for us? As of now the forums are clean and locked down.
We'll be doing work as soon as possible to restore the site to it's former glory.

Second raid is coming!

| Starting this Tuesday Epoch will be sending two raid groups into Karazhan. As announced in Sunday's Guild Meeting, this change will bring many benefits for the guild as a whole. Having two balanced groups moving through Karazhan will allow more people to participate each week rather than having to sit out. And, importantly, Epoch will end up with people gaining raiding experience and the epic loots that will allow us to progress to larger content. What we're looking at is in many ways to how raiding was initially for Epoch. We're sure there will be times when having a smaller pool of raiders per group will present challenges and slow initial progression. However, we're confident that this will continue to be the case.
The groups have been created to be as balanced as possible of experience and skill. To ensure we didn't end up with either group seeming to gain precedence, the two teams have been christened Bert and Ernie.

Raiding times will be changing as well to reflect the new groups. A new night has been added but overall each group will have just three scheduled raids per week. All times are EST.

First off, I'd like to formally welcome the members of Dungeon Lords to the guild. I can say that its been a pleasure to have the opportunity to run with those of you that I have and I'm looking forward to future runs as well.
In addition we seem to share a similar sense of humor and casual attitude while retaining the desir/o e to level and to see end game content.
I'd like to welcome Coloeb, the former GM for Dungeon Lords, to the High Council. We are honored to have you with us.

A number of our guild members have grouped together in the past and have always reported excellent experiences. We've found that our goals and guild cultures are very similar--it seems we were always family, only separated at birth.
Already the synergy of the now much larger guild has allowed several members to attain Karazhan attunement with promises of several more to come. The significance of the new combined guild is undeniable, it is truly a new Epoch.

Thanks to the increase in high-level members, we've been working on getting our level 70s keyed and ready to start raiding in Karazhan. We want to offer every interested party the chance to see this content and so over the next weekend, and probably some to come, we're hoping to help you guys get through the keying process. If you want to join the fight, please consider picking up the starting quests found in Deadwind Pass so that we can get the necessary instance runs going.

Catching up

| Over the last little while some events have passed without congratulations being offered here on the website. So let's correct that now...
Congratulations to those members, starting with Allurian back in January and all the way up to Jadore just yesterday, who have managed to scrimp, save and hustle their way into possession of epic riding mounts. Screenshots of many of these fine beasts can be found in this set over at the guild's Flickr account.
While Allurian, Ohmresist, Silahsor, Kuramon, Daigakusei, and Jadore sent us fine pictures of their new mounts, not everyone is represented in the photo set. If you want to be included, send a screenshot to the guild email (epochguild@gmail.com) and I'll get it added.
Congratulations to Allurian who soloed BRD in what we believe was a server first! No mob could stop him and thus, in the end, even the Emperor lay defeated.
Congratulations are also in order for Silahsor - PUGing the whole time, Silah became the first member of Epoch to be keyed for Karazhan. Look out for some more information on how he made it happen, coming soon to the site.

A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Monastery

| A few days ago, five brave adventurers from Epoch entered the infamous Scarlet Monastery in search of fortune and fame. They were well prepared; with a 60 warrior and a 57 warlock they believed they were invincible, easily able to take on all the Scarlet Crusade had to offer. They were wrong.
After showing Herod the might of Epoch, the group ventured into the library to kill Houndsmaster Loksey and Arcanist Doan. The battle was won, the Arcanist lay slain with an Illusionary Rod and Mantle of Doan there for the taking, but the danger was not yet over.

The trees, both ancient and immense, shuddered under the repeated impact of some supernatural power. High in the western mountains brilliant flashes of light accompanied the low thunder as a solitary priestess stood high upon a peak fervently uttering from some ancient text. Her small form belied the power of her faith as her angelic voice rang through the rocky peaks and to the very heavens above. Wave after wave of great and putrid demons advanced only to find their end at her feet. Hell's Gates, it seems, had been thrown open this day to remove her presence from this unholy land. The air crackled and the ground shook with the power of the priestess, but the demon spawn were relentless and, at last, she grew tired. The demons sensed her mounting weakness and redoubled their attack. Faced with her end, the priestess' faith did not waiver. The last of her energy expended,
her wand burned down its last demon. She was immediately and utterly blinded by white light. The heavens parted and a beam of light
engulfed the priestess. The horde of demons retreated in terror, for JADORE WAS LEVEL 60!
